DOWNLOADING FILES PROBLEMS Some Problems with the current download manager/dialog: - downloaded files list is kept until you manually clear it - many individual download windows can be open, cluttering workspace - individual windows always pop-up annoyingly. - you are asked where to place files every time by default, instead of just downloading to the desktop. - getting to the point where you can have a particular file type handled by a handler automatically is difficult due to clumsy Mozilla UI These were the main convenience items I could think of. Suggest removing "Connection" (connection becomes a "Configure Proxies..." button at the bottom of the General panel) and adding "Downloads")
